Technology can disrupt this poverty economy if made to be inclusive, accessible and beneficial to users, so this drives us to use our skills to help others succeed.

A service for opportunities
Our platform Biscate provides workers with a way to create a digital work profile in order to access work, training, partnership, and development opportunities that can help them escape the poverty trap.
Biscate users can connect to this service with their personal mobile devices without access to the internet, mobile credit, or service fees. It's free for everyone, everywhere in Mozambique!
We blend custom made legacy tech stacks that use USSD and SMS with dynamic web services and AI to provide an inclusive and impactful solution.
Work opportunities
Workers dial *777# on their phone and register their location, profession, experience, and preferences. This profile becomes available to clients who can find the best workers nearest them and call to request a service.
Training opportunities
Entry level workers can use this service to find the nearest experienced workers in their professions and call to request for paid training opportunities or free apprenticeships, helping them gain on the job experience from masters of the craft.
Partnership opportunities
Workers can find partners in this platform so together they can grow their businesses, creating value chains between complementary professions. This collaboration can help unlock new markets or deliver more complete services to clients.
Development opportunities
Biscate is always finding ways to support workers and their communities at scale. Through initiatives with development organizations and socially responsible companies we create group tasks that employ multiple workers for impactful services.
